Welcome to Green Energy Hosting! By using our hosting services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully, as they contain important information about your rights and responsibilities. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
1. Account Verification and Documentation
Documentation Requirement: Users agree to provide any documentation requested by Green Energy Hosting to verify their business or identity. This may include government-issued identification, business licenses, or other relevant documents.
Secure Requests: Any requests for sensitive information will only be made through our secure support ticket system to ensure data protection.
2. Abuse of Services
Clients may not use Green Energy Hosting’s platform or services in any abusive manner, including conduct that is fraudulent, deceptive, misleading, or unlawful, or that compromises the integrity, security, or reputation of Green Energy Hosting or its clients. Any abuse or misuse of services may result in the suspension or termination of services, at Green Energy Hosting’s discretion.
3. Permitted Use and Content Restrictions
Legal Business Use: Users agree to use Green Energy Hosting services only for lawful business activities. Hosting or promoting prohibited content is strictly forbidden, including but not limited to:
Pornographic material
Gambling websites
Illegal drugs or substances
promoting violence
Enforcement and Termination: Green Energy Hosting reserves the right to terminate services for users found in violation of these content restrictions without prior notice.
4. Prohibited Activities and Security
Unauthorized Access: Users agree not to attempt to hack, gain unauthorized access to, or compromise the security of our website, servers, or other users’ accounts. Any attempt to do so will result in immediate termination and may result in legal action.
5. Hosting Agreement for Shared Hosting
Users agree to abide by all terms outlined in our shared hosting agreement, including resource usage policies, storage limitations, and content restrictions.
Recommendations for Migration: Green Energy Hosting may suggest alternative providers for sites requiring larger storage capacities.
6. Billing, Grace Periods, and Payment
Domain Names and Website Hosting:
We offer a conditional grace period of up to 30 days for both domain name and hosting renewals. However, this grace period is not guaranteed. If payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to suspend or cancel domain registration and/or hosting services at any time, even within the 30-day window. A late fee will apply to any payments not received by the due date. Clients are strongly encouraged to make renewal payments on or before the due date to avoid service disruption, late fees, or potential loss of their domain or hosting data.
Timely Payment Requirement: Users are responsible for ensuring timely payments for all services as per their billing schedule.
7. Data Protection and Security
Security Measures: Green Energy Hosting employs industry-standard measures to protect user data. However, we are not liable for data loss, breaches, or unauthorized access that occurs due to circumstances beyond our control.
Data Backup Responsibility: Users are responsible for maintaining their own data backups. Green Energy Hosting recommends regular backups to prevent data loss.
8. Support Services
Secure Support Tickets: All requests for technical support or account assistance, including account verification, should be submitted through our support ticket system. This ensures a secure and documented line of communication.
One-Year Free Hosting With Website Design
Green Energy Hosting may offer one (1) year of free hosting when included as part of a website design package. This free hosting applies only to the single website developed under that package and is non-transferable. If the client cancels services, requests a website migration, or moves the website to another hosting provider at any time during the free hosting period, the free hosting offer is immediately forfeited and the hosting account will be canceled. No credits, refunds, or extensions will be provided for unused hosting time.
9. Service Modifications and Updates
Changes to Services: Green Energy Hosting reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue any part of our services, including these terms. Notice will be provided in advance when possible.
Acceptance of Changes: Continued use of our services after any updates to these terms constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
10. Disclaimer of Liability
Limited Liability: Green Energy Hosting will not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our services, including data loss, business interruptions, or reputational harm.
